University of Tennessee Small Animal Clinic Addition

The Small Animal Clinic Addition provides much-needed space and amenities to the University of Tennessee Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Included are a state-of-the-art linear accelerator vault for high-quality imaging, a built-in aqua-therapy pool, treadmills and a physical therapy area. The new addition meets all of the Vet School’s Small Animal needs. The building also has a new cancer treatment ward and a separate avian and zoological area for more exotic species. The main part of the project was occupied in April of 2008, and the second floor finish out is scheduled to start before the end of the year and will add additional classrooms and offices.
